Chicago rapper Lil Marcuz took to social media on Thursday, April 27, with a video addressing his confrontation with Kyyngg outside of an Atlanta mall earlier this week. While smoking with his boys, Marcuz shared that he was on Kyyngg's head for comments he made in which he mentioned Chicago's streets and questioned Rico Recklezz's credibility in his city.

"All that twitter s**t, motherf***ers ain't with that. Motherf***ers get up with you no matter what city you in. You feel me? Shorty was dissing on my homie, dissing on the city. Motherf***ers got up with you. Beat you. Made you run. Motherf***ers didn't beat you but, I ain't have to," Lil Marcuz said.

Kyyngg has released a series of statements, via text and video, in which he's attempted to put the visual of him running from Marcuz into context. He claims the reason why he was running was to secure his belongings in his car, after having realized he was being ambushed. Kyyngg maintains that what fans don't see, is Marcuz [who at one point during the first video clip warns Kyyngg that he's packing], running back into the mall as soon as he put his bags down and squared up to fight. The second clip shows Kyyngg talking smack while backpedaling.

No blows were ever exchanged during the confrontation. Lil Marcuz says that someone from Kyyngg's camp reached out to him and offered $1,000 for them to shoot a fair one, but if he's going to entertain a fight, they've got to up the offer. "I can't do that G. Hit me up last time talking about a G, we pulling up for a G. No, no sir, we getting too much money over here. We need 10," he said.
