If getting Draymond Green off of his back is an objective for Drake, he didn't help his cause by calling for the NBA star's attention with a meme that trolls his love life, on Wednesday morning, April 26. Green apparently interpreted it as Drizzy drawing first blood, and five hours later responded in kind, with a crack at him that ended with the hashtag #WAR.
"When she asks how much fun you're having without her," Drake wrote, in the caption of a picture of Green alone on his bed. Later on in the afternoon Draymond would apparently get a little bit of time to sit with his technology, and returned fire with a photo of a younger, clean-shaven Drake, that read: “When you get that text saying you no longer have to be an extra on Degrassi!”
It is about time Drake stuck up for himself and turned the tables on Golden State's bully enforcer with this friendly roasting battle. Green has been clowning Drake for weeks now, most recently exposing him for posing for selfies with pouted "duck lips." One week before the ducky post, Green went so far as to whip out his camera while out on the town with Drake and teammates Kevin Durant and Steph Curry. That night he got on the 6 god's high-waters and white socks, before sharing the hate with criticism of Steph and Kev's jackets.
