Lil Yachty is tired of being criticized by Joe Budden who blatantly said the rapper with red braids is not hip-hop on his "Everyday Struggle" series earlier this week.

Yachty, who’s readying his major label debut responded to Budden’s on-air tirade by tweeting “My Mood” with a post of Lil B’s 2010 Joe Budden diss titled “T Shirts and Buddens.” Joe didn’t take much offense to Yachty’s response and took to Twitter to smooth things out with the fans. “Mood….n***a lol. Lmao just having fun,” tweeted Joe. “That Lil B diss still hard all these years later tho lol.”

The Twitter spat stemmed from a conversation between Joe Budden and DJ Akademiks on Complex’s "Everyday Struggle" about Yachty’s upcoming “Teenage Emotions” album cover. The album’s artwork features people who would normally be considered societal outcasts including a gay couple kissing and an albino person. Joe Budden said he had no problem with the cover except for the fact that its only purpose was to bring attention to music that no one cares about in his opinion. “I don’t think that Yachty is hip-hop,” Budden said. “ I don’t think that Yachty’s label [Capitol Records] is hip-hop. When you’re not hip-hop you’re trying to just troll or exploit, you do things like this album cover.”

Budden has been bashing Yachty and his record label since last week. He believes the young rapper has no relevant music at the moment and is pandering to gays for attention. Since bursting onto the music scene last year, Lil Yachty caught heat from the likes of Ebro at Hot 97 and legendary producer Pete Rock for his brand of what some label as "mumble rap." Charlamagne tha God recently told Yachty that he’s become the poster child for whack hip-hop. The young rapper called the radio host's statement “crazy.”
