Funk Flex felt forced to place Desiigner in the same light as Drake and Joey BadA$$, when it came to his attention that the Brooklyn rapper had dissed New York radio in a recent tweet.

It was only February that Desiigner was having a good time, freestyling and kicking it with the veteran DJ up in Hot 97's studios. But something must be rubbing the GOOD Music rapper the wrong way, as he was discovered to have posted "F**k NY RADIO" on his Twitter feed before deleting the post earlier this week. Flex reposted the tweet, but didn't include a caption.

Others have gotten a whim of Desiigner's comment and responded publicly. During a promo for his new show on Complex, Joe Budden also chimed in, stating: “‘This is something we’ll see artists continue to say. Desiigner had a lot of success with ‘Panda’ on his own – but New York radio is always late to the party in the morning. So my question to Desiigner would be, 'Why do you need New York radio?' … Hot 97 ignored the Internet that is why Hot 97 means nothing today.”
