Previously, it was reported that Kendrick Lamar's latest album DAMN was projected to sell more albums in his first week than Drake's More Life did in its first week. Since then, the rapper hit the Billboard 200 with the largest sales amount in a week for an album in 2017 with 603,00 album units sold.

Now, Kendrick's single "Humble" took the number 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This number 1 for Lamar marks his second time being at the top of the Hot 100 chart, as well as on his own as a leading artist on a track. Kendrick Lamar earned his first time being on top of the Hot 100 charts as a feature on Taylor Swift's track "Bad Blood."

In the last week, Lamar's humble was streamed 67 million times in the United States. "Humble" also topped the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop song chart, along with the Hot Rap Songs chart.
