News broke this week that former NFL player Aaron Hernandez committed suicide while in prison. Investigators ruled that his death was a suicide, and Hernandez left notes to his family before taking his own life.

Since then, rumors have popped up that Aaron Hernandez had a gay lover in prison. His lover was also one of the people who the deceased NFL player left a note to. His alleged lover, Kyle Kennedy, was the last person to see him alive, and now Kennedy has been placed on suicide watch in the maximum security facility Souza-Baranowski Corrections Center since Hernandez's death. According to reports. before he took his own life, Hernandez gave Kennedy a $50,000 watch along with other belongings.

Kennedy is a 22-year-old who was convicted of robbing someone at knifepoint. Old court documents with statements from Kennedy's family said that the man allegedly was addicted to heroin. The robbery that Kennedy committed occurred in January 2015 at a gas station in Massachusetts. Kennedy only got away from the robbery with about $190 dollars. Since his death, Hernandez's family has donated the former NFL player's brain to the University of Boston. Tests will be conducted to see if Hernandez was suffering from CTE, a brain condition which is caused by multiple major hits to the head.
