Tameka "Tiny" Harris addressed the status of her marriage with T.I. while a guest on the Wendy Williams Show this week. The singer/reality television star admitted to the pair being totally separated at this point and gave a bit of insight into the dynamics of their relationship and how they came to the place in which they currently find themselves. Tiny covered her recent spat with model Bernice Burgos, but also fleshed out a couple of details concerning herself and Tip that would indicate she isn't particularly the problem.
Burgos wouldn't be the first side chick to come into T.I.'s life, and judging by how it was presented to the Wendy audience, her surfacing wouldn't have necessarily been a factor that came between the two were it not for her taking their affair a bit too far. Tiny alluded to both Tip and herself having carried a fairly loose partnership throughout their 6 years of marriage, although she did make mention of the heightened attention he drew from women post-T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle, in reference to the components of their split.
"We just cannot keep it together. You know I guess it's just, you know, entertainment life and everything. It's just a lot, you know ... It is a fast life. He is, they call him a sex symbol I guess," she said while attesting to their television exposure having been a stressor on the marriage.
What separated Burgos from other women who came along, however, was her continuous publicizing of their romance, which Tiny said is the one thing you don't do if you're creeping with another woman's husband. Burgos has not only hinted at having sexual relations with the Grand Hustle boss, she released at least three videos to social media, in which she speaks on Tiny and T.I.'s marriage, one of which was a recording in which Burgos sings an Xscape song; a clear shot at Mrs. Harris, who gained her early fame as a member of the r&b group. Ultimately, Tiny said, the whole situation has been blown out of proportion considering, as she puts it, they aren't even "together."
When confronted with the notion that she herself has been no angel in the marriage, with a long-rumored affair between she and Floyd Mayweather Jr. gaining steam this past fall when they were sighted dancing together at Mariah Carey's Halloween Party, Tiny rejected the idea that there was anything to the story. But she did imply that her presence at Mariah's Calabasas mansion that day wasn't completely benign, stating, "Honestly, if he would have been doing the right thing I wouldn't have been at Mariah's party."
