On Thursday, April 20th, Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop proclaimed North Korea would be handed down more sanctions as a clear message that its hostile maneuvering would not be tolerated. In addition, Bishop called upon China to influence North Korea to dismantle its nuclear warheads.

Taking objection, North Korea responded yesterday [April 22nd] by threatening Austrailia with nuclear war if they continued to “blindly and zealously" follow the United States:

“If Australia persists in following the US moves to isolate and stifle North Korea … this will be a suicidal act of coming within the range of the nuclear strike of the strategic force of North Korea,” said a foreign ministry spokesman of the rogue government.

Let's hope these are hollow threats.
