While many people were waiting for Troy Ave to drop his much talked about album, NuPac, on Friday (April 14), but the album missed it's release date and dropped on Monday (April 17). Troy addressed the controversy over the album on Instagram, saying that it is worth the wait.

He wrote, "I slept 10hours in the past 4days making this (street album) 4 ya'll! Took me 6 days to record & mix in total but I had to do it to practice what I preach! when Life throws u lemons make lemonade! Media try 2 twist my words and distract the team message I was kickin 2 the people, well as long as GOD bless me with health u can't stop me from speaking truth spreading luv destroying hate & promoting Righteousness! with that said Finally #NuPAC is Out and I promise u it was worth the wait but y'all get back 2 ya boi and tell me if u agree 💯 Spread tha word! @mymixtapez is tha plug."

One of the tracks, "I Ain't Mad Atcha," was released ahead of the album, and on the track, Troy sends shots at Casanova, Taxstone, and Hovain. You can listen to the full album here.
