United Airlines better get their PR team ready, because a video of a passenger being dragged off of a flight after getting his face smashed into an armrest has surfaced. The incident allegedly took place this past Sunday and began when a man was unwilling to give up his seat on an overbooked United flight. The man claims that he is a doctor who was on his way to see patients in Louisville, Kentucky the following day. However, his trip did not go according to plan once he was told that he would have to give up his seat.

Passengers on the flight were offered up to $800 along with a hotel room to give up their seats to United employees that needed to be in Louisville on Monday for another flight. However, no one jumped at the offer, which made the airline announce that passengers would randomly be selected and removed from the flight. One passenger noted that security guards approached the man in the video, tore him out of the seat, and caused his head to connect with the armrest leaving him bloodied. From there, they literally dragged him off the flight.

A spokesperson from United issued a statement, saying "After our team looked for volunteers, one customer refused to leave the aircraft voluntarily and law enforcement was asked to come to the gate."
