Last year, Drake's album "Views" set the bar high for first-week streams after being played a total of 250 million times. This year, it seems Drake is only in competition with himself after his newest project, "More Life" surpassed that mark, being streamed a total of 300 million times in a short week. The More Life playlist was available on Spotify and Apple Music, and actually broke Spotify’s record for single-day artist streams with more than 76 million streams. In the realm of Apple Music, "More Life" set a record with 89.9 million streams in its first 24 hours; it is expected to be streamed around 600 million times worldwide.
