HBO has announced that it will soon be airing another J. Cole documentary.

"J. Cole: 4 Your Eyez Only, A Dreamville Film" will be the follow-up to the 2016 film that documented Cole's intimate process as he completed his 2014 Forest Hills Drive project. On Friday, March 24, the cable premium network unveiled plans to premier the film on Saturday, April 15 at 10 p.m. Eastern time. As was the case with the Forest Hills Drive documentary, 4 Your Eyez Only will let fans into Cole's world as he travels the state's performing, but will also have a significant social slant.

“The documentary promises to illustrate how their struggles over viable housing, voting laws for felons, integration, and more mirror the frustrations felt across the nation,” it was reported by Entertainment Weekly.

J. Cole: 4 Your Eyez Only follows up the December release of the album, which was actually preceded by a documentary; a 40-minute short titled Eyez. The directing of both documentaries are credited to Cole himself and partner Scott Lazer.
