Meek Mill opened up about his disgust over the media's lack of coverage of a story which has been developing, involving the disappearance of a dozen teens in Washington, D.C., when on Thursday, March 23, he tweeted an NBC Washington News 4 report confirming the crisis. In the story's caption, Meek aired out mainstream news publications for prioritizing governmental squabbles and daily Donald Trump happenings over the goings-on in the Black community.

"And I haven't seen nothing but Trump on major news stations... I thought this was fake because I only seeing it on social media!!!!" he wrote. "America's media is getting out of hand with the disrespect to the lack of coverage of our people and it's becoming too blatant!! 'WASNT YALL JUST SEARCHING FOR TOM BRADYS JERSEY' ???????"

The last line in Meek's comment was a reference to an analogy made by D.L. Hughley, who earlier this week questioned how authorities could find Tom Brady's jersey across international borders, while scores of young citizens go missing. Hughley suggested that maybe if the teens were wearing jerseys they'd be found. A whole host of celebrities and leaders have since come forward to voice their disdain over law enforcement's slow response to the problem.
