Paul Wall and Baby Bash will not be indicted for dealing marijuana after being arrested in a drug raid back in December.

A grand jury decided to drop all charges this week, according to TMZ. Wall and Bash were booked and charged with possession of marijuana and intent to sell at a weed party in Houston. The panel claimed there was insufficient evidence for a conviction.

Paul Wall took to social media to celebrate the victory. "Hey man, I’m smoking a victory cigar man. It’s a belated birthday present for me. My lawyer called me. She gave me the great news,” said Wall while puffing away. The two rappers were arrested in an undercover raid and at the time told the judge that they would test positive for THC if given a drug evaluation. Wall also admitted to using codeine, hydrocodone, and Ativan around the time of the incident. His lawyer claimed the rapper had these drugs in his system because of needed medication, but the judge did not believe the reasoning.

Prosecutors alleged that Bash and Wall had between 4 and 400 grams of a controlled substance when they were taken into custody. Both rappers rejected plea deals and chose to deal with the justice system with their first hearing taking place in January. Possession of marijuana is a felony under Texas law and if indicted, the rappers could've faced some serious jail time. Baby Bash spoke to TMZ around the time of the incident and claimed the two were just having fun at the party using dabs and pot. The grand jury felt it just wasn’t enough for an indictment and cut the two loose. This is actually the second time Paul Wall and Baby Bash were busted for weed together. Back in 2011, the two were arrested in El Paso, Texas for the same crime.
