Tensions nearly boiled over between the Warriors and Thunder at Oklahoma City on Monday, March 20. With only 05.3 seconds left in the first half, each of the teams' starters drew close to the key on OKC's end of the court for a jump ball, when an altercation suddenly broke out between Stephen Curry and Semaj Christon.

Frustrations were high as it is for the Thunder, when the drama ensued, as they found themselves trailing by 17 points. When Curry moved in to position himself of front of Christon elbows briefly tangled before their hands began to fidget. Within the blink of an eye the opposing guards were pushing and shoving, prompting Westbrook to step between them in what looked like an attempt to stop deescalate the confrontation. But whether it was words said, or the emphasis behind contact made with his arms, something then appeared to tick him off as well, leading to he and Curry shouting at one another from behind a crowd of teammates intervening in order to prevent an all out brawl.

After the squabble settled Golden State claimed possession and quickly chucked the ball up the court to Curry, who hit a 3-pointer to put them ahead 59-39 midway through the game. They'd eventually take the contest with a final score of 111-95.
