Traditional African homes are known to be held down by strict parenting. Few in hip hop would have a first hand knowledge of this fact more than does Wale, who was born Olubowale Victor Akintimehin to Nigerian parents. Thus, it was somewhat natural for the voice of his father to come to mind when thinking up how he would execute the Get Out challenge.

The D.C. rapper recently posted to Instagram with his own interpretation of the Jordan Peele flick inspired trend, but unlike the #GetOutChallenge shared by Chris Brown, Sage The Gemini and Woody McClain or the parody of the challenge that Emmanuel Hudson did, Wale's doesn't mock the famous running scene that social media has popularized amidst the Get Out craze. Instead, Wale does an impersonation that many an African youth might be familiar with.

"Tupper. Are you prepared to be a doctor? Eh? A lawyer? Heyyy, gerrrout of my house!" Wale hollers, dubbing his take on the fad the "GerrrOUT" challenge.
