Kendall Jenner returned home following a full day of shopping on Wednesday, March 15, and settled in comfortably for some hours before realizing that she was missing some $200,000 worth of jewelry.
Jenner contacted police just after 1 a.m. and told of having gone into her bedroom only to discover that the valuables had been missing. She reported having at that point heard a suspicious noise, but when authorities arrived and combed the property they found no unauthorized persons, and there was no sign of forced entry.
An investigation is underway to determine when the burglary could have taken place, as Jenner had been gone from her residence between noon and 8 p.m. Upon returning home from hours of shopping, she says that nothing seemed askew as she lounged around the home.
Jenner moved into the Hollywood Hills mansion over the summer and made headlines soon after, when she was forced to file a report against an alleged stalker. The Kardashian clan kid is only the most recent celebrity to have a home broken into over the past several months. Her sister Kim, of course, made international headlines when she was tied up, gagged, and robbed during a stay in Paris back in October.
