According to the NY Daily News, a 53-year-old disabled man named Kerrin Randolph who was in a wheelchair, was handcuffed and dragged out his wheelchair across Grand Central Terminal. Now the 53-year-old is suing. Randolph said that the officers had stopped him and gave him a ticket for allegedly committing "theft of services." However, the police did not stop there, as they handcuffed him, then stood the wheelchair-prone man up out of his seat. Randolph then said the cops told him "You can walk."

From there, Randolph said he collapsed then one officer grabbed him by the handcuffs and started dragging him across the floor. From there, the man was left on the floor for almost 20 minutes until someone came with a new wheelchair for the victim to sit in. However, the police did not fully secure Randolph into the new chair, which made him fall forward flat on to his face. Because of his treatment, Randolph has filed a civil rights suit against the MTA with the Manhattan Supreme Court.
