Legendary actor Warren Beatty announced "La La Land" as the winner for Best Picture and halfway through the acceptance speech, it was announced that Moonlight had actually won the prestigious award. La La Land producer Jordan Horowitz interrupted his own acceptance speech to announce the comical blunder with much grace and enthusiasm. He urged the cast and crew of "Moonlight" to come onstage to accept their prize saying, "I'm gonna be really proud to hand this to my friends from 'Moonlight.'"
Warren Beatty also weighed in on the situation. It turns out the mishap was through no fault of his own, as he was handed a card with the wrong information on it. Steve Harvey took to twitter to make light of the situation and poke some fun at himself. Check it the tweets in the gallery.
