Paul Pierce fired back at Draymond Green during an appearance on NBA Countdown on Saturday, February 25, responding to Green's taunts during Thursday night's Warriors/Clippers game by dismissing his trash-talking prowess to a 3/10 in comparison to others he's played against.

“[Draymond Green’s trash-talk game] is about a three. I’ve been around for a long time, the likes of Kevin Garnett, obviously. I grew up watching Gary Payton, hearing him, so that’s light. I couldn’t even hear him,” Pierce said during the NBA on ESPN segment.

Green and Pierce have been going back and forth since the Clippers veteran got wind of Green having told him "thought you was Kobe?!" after suggesting that Pierce was sitting on a "farewell tour." Pierce would release a tweet recalling Golden State's blowing of a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals, much of which is attributed to a suspension Green incurred for drawing technical fouls during the series.

While Pierce didn't recall hearing Green's Pierce/Kobe comparison, he does remember doing his own poking and prodding, saying that he believes he had gotten under Green's skin by telling him, "You not that good. You only good because you got Steph Curry, KD and Klay Thompson around. That’s the only reason you get recognition.’"
