Chance the Rapper took home the coveted "Best Rap Album" Grammy earlier this month for his mixtape Coloring Book, beating out heavyweights including Drake, Kanye West, and DJ Khaled. While the 23-year-old Chi-town spitter is rightfully proud of the accomplishment, he hasn't forgotten who helped him get to where he is today. Chance spoke on the win during a recent stop by his hometown's Power 92.3 radio.

"I mean, I beat them out...but those people are straight inspirations and without them I couldn't have made the project," said Chance. "Without 'Ye I couldn't have, you know, physically made the intro...and Drake is a really good friend of mine. Every time I've seen him he's been encouraging."
