Young 22 isn't showing signs of letting up on his beef with 21 Savage, taking to social media on Tuesday night, February 21, to preview a new diss track he's recorded in response to the Issa rapper saying that his chain is fake.

It is now clear that a recent attempt by 22 at making peace, by dropping the Savage from his name and changing it to Young 22, wasn't effective in having them bury the hatchet. They began quarreling again earlier this week, when 22 hopped on Instagram with a claim that he bumped into his rival in New Orleans and "spared him," after nearly pursuing him with his firearm. According to Young 22, 21 was afraid to wear his jewelry out in the hood and booked it when he saw that 22 might approach him.

21 Savage would respond that he never saw 22, in the comments section of a DJ Akademiks post on the alleged incident. He also had a bit of fun with his retort, comparing Young 22 to Soulja Boy for bragging on social media, and then writing that his jewelry looked suspect. 22 would in turn find his way back to Instagram to film himself cleaning the jewelry piece in question.

"N***as say you my daddy/ I don't play about that son s**t/ saw you [sic], and I had the 2-2-3, all of your n***as went running," Young 22 raps in the song. He also takes shots at 21 Savage comrade No Plug, 21's girlfriend, and his clique, calling them all "h**s" and accusing them of faking their lifestyle.
