Partizan Belgrade's Everton Luiz, a Brazilian player who joined the Serbian team last year, was taunted with "monkey" chants, racist remarks, and a banner bearing an insulting message during the entire game against Rad Belgrade.

Scuffles between the players broke out after the match when Partizan won 1-0, and Luiz showed the middle finger to the Rad supporters who were tormenting him. Luiz was in tears as he walked off the field, telling reporters that he had endured “racist abuse during the entire match.”

The Serbian Football Association has temporarily suspended Rad from playing in its home stadium due to the fans "monkey" chants directed at Luiz.
