The New Orleans Pelicans set the NBA world on fire late Sunday night [Feb. 19th] after trading for superstar center DeMarcus Cousins of the Sacremento Kings. Mired in controversy and a consistent losing record, Cousins was likely headed out of Sacramento after the season. The Kings could not afford to lose Cousins as a free agent, hence the blockbuster trade right before the deadline.

The Pelicans traded Buddy Hield, Tyreke Evans, Langston Galloway and a future first- and second-round to Sacramento for DeMarcus Cousins. A virtual no-brainer for the Pelicans; they are only two games out of the 8th spot in the Western Conference, do you think they will make they playoffs? What are your thoughts on the trade?
