Devon Swan has been charged with first-degree murder for the shooting deaths of two-year-old Lavontay White, and his uncle, 26-year-old Lazaric Collins. The two were ambushed while driving in Chicago on Tuesday. Collins' 20-year-old girlfriend was shot in the stomach while riding in the car and unknowingly broadcast the deadly shooting on facebook live.
Police are also looking for three other suspects whom they believe to be involved in the murders, citing both Swan and Collins were "documented" gang members. Swan told detectives that he and the other suspects believed Collins was responsible for the murder of one of his friends, so they came for revenge.
Swan has been arrested nine times by Chicago Police for a variety of charges, including armed robbery and unlawful use of a weapon. Swan is currently being held without bond. What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments.
