President Donald Trump is spending so much time at his opulent Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida that he's now referring to it as "The Southern White House." Early Saturday morning (Feb. 18), Trump tweeted, "Will be having many meeting this weekend at The Southern White House."

Trump has spent three of the first four weekends of his presidency at Mar-a-Lago. He has caused a lot of outrage as his trips on Air Force One are paid by taxpayers. People have also noticed that he's spending a lot of time playing golf, something he previously accused former President Barack Obama of doing.

This weekend at his club in West Palm Beach, the president is expected to interview candidates for the position of White House national security adviser following the resignation of Michael Flynn and Vice Adm. Robert Harward rejecting the job offer.

“Don’t believe the main stream (fake news) media,” Trump said on Twitter Saturday morning referring to CNN, NY Times, CBS, ABC, and NBC. “The White House is running VERY WELL. I inherited a MESS and am in the process of fixing it.”
