Tyrese swung by Power 105's The Breakfast Club on Monday (February 13) where the 38-year-old entertainer chopped it up about a host of topics, including his controversial role as a pastor on FOX's Star, homosexuality in hip hop, ghostwriting and more. One subject that the Grammy-nominated singer seemed especially passionate about was Steve Harvey and Kanye West's involvement with Trump.

"Listen, we love Steve Harvey," Tyrese said in response to Breakfast Club host Charlamagne Tha God mentioning how much good Harvey has done for the black community. "I just don't appreciate what felt to me, like he was being used as a prop by the propmaster."

"When you show up to that man's office, the Trump towers or the White House, he's gonna want the cameras to roll, he's desperate for the credibility of black people," Tyrese said. "He wants to show everybody, 'I have all of these African Americans' intentions...look at my African American!'"

Check out Tyrese's observations up top, starting at the 17:40 mark.
