In 2008, singer Lyfe Jennings got into a domestic dispute with his children's mother after she denied him from seeing his kids. The R&B star told DJ Vlad that he kicked the door down and later hopped in his car blasting 2pac's "Hail Mary" as cops trailed behind him. Still upset from the argument with his ex, he said he decided not to pull over forcing a police chase that led to his crash.
Although the singer told his story about his life in prison through his music, Jennings was sentenced again to 3 1/2 years in prison.
