It appears that the family of a Detroit businessowner is one of the first casualties of Donald Trump's temporary immigration ban.

Miker Hager, an Iraqi immigrant and resident of the United States since 1995, flew to Iraq to bring his mom back to the states for medical treatment. On the return leg of the trip, shortly after Trump's order had been put into effect, he says he was refused entry at the airport, and was forced to leave his family in Iraq.

His mother died two days later.

"The immigration told us that the President of the United States put an order right now - you guys cannot go," he said. "I really believe this in my heart: if they would have let us in, my mom - she would have made it and she would have been sitting right here next to me," Hager said. "She's gone because of him."
