Stevie J's unpaid child support is at a whopping $1.3 million. The Love & Hip-Hop star is so far behind on his payments that his federal prosecutor wants him to pay up with time behind bars.
U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara says Stevie has a track record of ignoring his child support responsibilities and it's disrespectful to the law. In docs, Bharara notes that Stevie has gotten plenty of second chances but he repeatedly screws them up by doing things like failing drug tests. Bharara is fed up and wants to make an example out of Stevie, requesting the judge put him in jail for up to 6 months.
