Music-streaming service Tidal is here to stick around after a recent purchase from Sprint, Monday [Jan. 23]. The mobile company acquired 33% of Jay Z's celebrity-owned streaming service. At least 45 million Sprint customers will be able to get exclusive music content while also being provided with the streaming service itself. Although Sprint's chief executive, Marcelo Claure, will be joining the streaming service board, the company will still be run by artists.
