Today a video of Chris Brown has surfaced in which he is seen reacting to comedian Aziz Ansari's recent Saturday Night Live monologue. Ansari's pointed and hilarious monologue was mainly focused on current events in American politics, and the widespread division caused by President Trump's election win.

Ansari referred to the fact that some Trump voters were not necessarily supporting his behavior, merely his politics; similar to many fans of the embattled R and B singer throughout his numerous legal and personal troubles.

At one point the comedian jokes, "If you think about it, Donald Trump is basically the Chris Brown of politics. And “Make America Great Again” is his “These hoes ain’t loyal.”

Ansari's warns against the injustice of large-scale condemnation of those who support someone against the wave of public opinion.

"We can’t demonize everyone that voted for Trump. Some people are like, everyone that voted for Trump is a dumb racist misogynist homophobe. Hold on. We’re talking about 63 million people. You know? Don’t judge them by their words. I’m sure there’s some people that had different political priorities. I’m sure there’s some people that voted for him with reservations."

I’m sure there’s a lot of people voted for Trump the same way a lot of people listen to the music of Chris Brown, where it’s like, “Hey, man! I’m just here for the tunes. I’m just here for the tunes! I don’t know about that other stuff. I just like the dancing and the music. I don’t condone the extracurriculars.”

In the brief clip posted to Instagram, the singer does not appear to take kindly to the comparison, shaking his head with dismay. At the end of the brief clip, defends himself somewhat by warning the viewers that "even salt can look like sugar".

The usually opinionated Chris brown will no doubt have more to say in the following days.
