Louisville rapper Tory Lanez spoke out in defense of Lil Wayne this week, as he told Twitter followers, "LIL WAYNE WILL DIE THE BEST RAPPER OF HIS TIME and ERA ... n****s gotta stop the bulls*** and give the man his credit."
Back in 2015, Tory said that Wayne is the most slept on rapper, telling Power 106, "I think people overlook Lil Wayne at this time. I think people overlook the great things that Lil Wayne has done, and the path that he's took. I guess because so much time has passed people undermine what he's done or his talent at this level. Wayne is crazy talented to me, personally. I think he's kinda slept on right now. I think people sleep on how nice he really is."
