Rico Love took to Twitter on Thursday (January 18) night to share some of his thoughts on the music industry. He started out by tweeting, "Bad & Boujee" & "Black Beatles" are pop hits. Now labels heads are scrambling to find white rappers who can do trap songs. Watch," adding, "Taylor Swift ft. Kodak Black is on the way! Remember Katie Perry had Juicy J on a song and was rocking a gold grill in the video?"

After the tweets stirred up some controversy, Rico cleared things up on Instagram, as he explained that "the problem is that the genre is totally IGNORED by the label head who are well aware it exist, until (on its own) it becomes a mainstream success!!! Then they chase down a white star who they feel is more appealing to the masses and rape the entire culture without paying the ppl who actually created it."
