After having a meltdown and spending time in the hospital, Kanye West ended meeting with President-elect Donald Trump. Because of this, West received a lot of backlash from fans and supporters.

Despite being considered a friend of Trump, the president-elect's inauguration team did not ask Kanye West to perform. When speaking to CNN, Tom Barrack-- the chair of the Presidential Inaugural Committee said "We haven't asked him. He considers himself a friend of the President-elect, but it's not the venue. The venue we have for entertainment is filled out, it's perfect, it's going to be typically and traditionally American, and Kanye is a great guy but we just haven't asked him to perform. We move on with our agenda." What do you think Tom Barrack meant by "traditionally American"?
