According to NY Daily News, Donald Trump appointed a real estate company owner who allegedly hired white men to physically attack and intimidate African-Americans. Because of that, the owner has multiple pending lawsuits against him.

This past Tuesday, Donald Trump appointed Reed Cordish to be an assistant to the president for intergovernmental and technology initiatives. Cordish is a partner in Cordish Companies and Entertainment Concepts Investors. In three of the lawsuits, ECI employees noted that Cordish gave them orders to discriminate against black guests at shopping and entertainment plazas that they own. Another lawsuit filed in 2014 by two black men claimed that they were beaten and harassed by white men employed by ECI to "lighten up" their locations and keep African-Americans out. Despite the lawsuits, Trump's transition team has denied the claims.
