Now, the audio of the open letter has surfaced. In the letter, T.I. spoke on Trump's response to people who have been critical of his action, saying that their actions are a result of "YOU defining yourself as the representative for those who are and who always have been stacked against the U.S. in this country." The rapper mentioned how the black community's buying power is the strongest of all consumers, but are treated as if their lives don't matter as much as their dollars.
T.I. ended his letter by noting that despite the black community's actions and gestures for justice, that they are placed in life-threatening situations and unspeakable conditions-- a situation that needs to change immediately. The main point T.I. drove home is that basic human rights of freedom and equality for everyone, especially the black community is something that Donald Trump should focus on as he makes his way to the White House.
