During an interview with the Breakfast Club, Yung Berg discussed where his falling out with Bow Wow started—despite Yung Berg dating Bow's daughter's mother, Joie Chavis—and says Karrine Steffans was the one that made him aware that the rapper wasn't too fond of him. "Bow Wow is a sucker. He be talking like, pillow talking. " He continued, "[Karrine] told me one day, like offline, like, 'this dude Bow is so lame. He told me, I shouldn't be having sex with you and I should only be having sex with Lil Wayne and him and people of that stature.'"
