Kodak Black's challenge to fight Lil Wayne for the title of "Best Rapper Alive" might not have drawn a response from Weezy, but it did win him Donkey Of The Day on The Breakfast Club on Wednesday, January 11.
Kodak has been trending on social media for a number of reasons over the past several days, and most of it has to do with him throwing Wayne's out in his Instagram videos. This past weekend the Florida rapper posted a recording of him saying Lil Wayne can "eat his a**," before returning to his following the next day with a video of him claiming to have made the statement as a form of disrespect. He would then upload a third video, in which he requested a fair one with Wayne, with the "Best Rapper Alive" title up for grabs.
"Lil Wayne said he was the best rapper alive, and he showed and proved that he was one of the best rappers alive by rapping his a** off," Charlamagne said, while explaining why he chose to award Kodak the Donkey distinction. "See, Kodak seems to want to challenge Lil Wayne for the best rapper alive moniker. Now, if I claimed the best rapper alive and another rapper had that title, then I would think the best way to prove I'm the best rapper alive is by rapping," he said.
