The Black Twittersphere went off on Sunday night [January 8], when during the Golden Globes Awards Red Carpet pre-show, daughter of former President George W. Bush, Jenna Bush Hager, confused the Black themed flicks "Hidden Figures" and "Fences" while interviewing Pharrell about his role in the former.
The VA hitmaker's face seemed to project that he was taken aback by the blunder, however he kept his composure and went with the flow, albeit their chat would only get more awkward from that point forward. Without catching the slip-up Bush Hager led right into a question as to whether Pharrell planned on having a drink during the festivities or enjoy a hamburger in his room. He looked to be confused a second time when prior to asking the question, she posed that earlier he had told her the function was known for the drinking that takes place.
"Well, (you) said it was known for drinking," Pharrell replied, before confirming that he might indeed be the kind of guy who enjoys a burger in solitude before the big event.
