According to E! News, Lamar Odom has checked himself into rehab, just one year after his near-fatal overdose. A source told the website, "It was his own decision. He wanted to work on his mental and physical health for the next chapter of his life. He has not fallen off the wagon, but he understands the importance of maintaining his sobriety."
In October 2015, Lamar Odom's estranged wife Khloe Kardashian was told that the former basketball star had only four hours to live, but he pulled through and was able to enter a private rehab center in California. There were reports that Odom was homeless after his overdose, a source close to Lamar revealed that he is doing well at his home in California. The source added, "He is determined to stay on the straight and narrow [path] and wants to be the best father he can possibly be and he is doing the work required to achieve that."
