During an interview with Complex Magazine, Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar revealed that he challenged the current United States President-- Barack Obama to a game of basketball in Compton. During some down time at his performance at Art Basel, the rapper was asked how he thought Obama's time would be best spent outside of the White House. Lamar said "From the conversations that we’ve had, I think he’s gonna be in the communities still, heavy. He will be there and be effective inside the urban community and communities around the world.. and playing a little basketball. He needs to work on his jump shot a little bit… I’ve been trying to bring him out, that’s why I’m throwing shots at him right now. I want him to come to Gonzales Park in Compton.” Barack Obama has yet to respond to the rapper, but from the looks of it, a game of 1-on-1 between them may more than likely happen.
