Denver Broncos star Von Miller is pulling out all the stops to block a woman from releasing a sex tape featuring the two of them.
TMZ reports that Miller filed legal docs under the pseudonym “Doe” that attempt to block the woman from releasing the tape. Furthermore, Miller claims the woman is offering to sell him the tape back for $2.5 million. Elizabeth Ruiz, the woman in possession of the tape, allegedly filmed their romp during a trip to Cancun, Mexico. Miller originally thought she would keep it private, but she made it clear that she was going to use it as a come-up when she texted “Gotcha” to him when he asked her to delete it. Miller claims that she tried selling the tape to TMZ who ended up passing on it. After TMZ didn’t want to buy it, Ruiz formed a team and attempted to sell it back to Von for $2.5 million. Miller wants the judge to block her from ever going public with the tape.
He apparently wanted to remain anonymous in the case by using the name Doe, but several sources close to the matter confirmed to TMZ that this was actually Miller. The legal docs also describe Doe as “one of the most talented people at his craft in the U.S. and the world.” Ruiz is social media famous in her own right with over 300k followers on her Instagram.
