Dr. Dre's lawyers threatened Suge Knight’s council over the lawsuit filed by the former Death Row head who claims Dre put a hit out on him, and that he’s entitled to some of the Dr.’s Beats money.

Dre’s lawyer issued a statement tearing up the allegations. “Given that Dre has had zero interaction with Suge since leaving Death Row Records in 1996, we hope that Suge’s lawyer has lots of malicious prosecution insurance.” Team Dre plans on putting the case to rest.

The lawsuit was filed earlier this month. Suge alleged that Dre hired a hitman on two separate occasions to murder Knight. One of them being Cle “Bone” Sloan, the man who was present when he viciously ran over Terry Carter last year. The first hit allegedly came from a man who shot Suge 7 times in 1 OAK. He claims a man named T-Money who was questioned by police after the shooting said Dre paid him to kill Suge. Aside from the hits, the suit says Suge had a lifetime management contract with Dre that entitled him to 25 percent of all of his earnings. This means he would have gotten at least $300 million from Dre’s Beats headphones deal.
