Ace Hood released a track off of his impending Body Bag 4 project this week, and while he goes in on a range of topics, from balling to police violence, fans are buzzing about one line in particular. With word having circulated that Ace's departure from We the Best Music Group left he and former label boss DJ Khaled on bad terms, reference made to "keys" in one verse is raising the curiosity of those still questioning the nature of their split.

"I want the money bags please/ cause I gotta feed my peeps/ I need my hands on change, since you've got the keys, keys, keys," the South Florida rapper spits at one point. He then goes on to demand that he is afforded his God-given respect.

Back in August the topic of Ace Hood's standing with DJ Khaled was addressed when during an episode of The Breakfast Club Khaled was asked why his former artist didn't make it onto his Major Key release. Khaled claimed that all was well and that Ace's absence was the natural result of him having moved on from We the Best to develop his start-up label [Hood Nation]. Ace Hood would respond to Khaled's assertion over social media, tweeting "If ONLY everything u said on BF club was the truth my brother."

Whatever the case, Ace himself seemed to acknowledge that their decision to go separate ways was mutual, during an interview with HipHopDX, in which he reported: "At this point, I'm focusing on my situation with my label, which is Hood Nation, and Khaled is focusing on his label. So that's what is happening right now." Ace Hood would then go on to drop his Starvation 5 mixtape, weeks before Major Key shot straight to the Billboard charts.
