Former Indiana Hoosier, Todd Jadlow, says Coach Bobby Knight used to engage in inappropriate behavior with players.

Jadlow claims Knight used to grab his players by the “balls” to test their mental stamina during practice. He talks about this and other abuse he endured at the hands of Knight in his new book “Jadlow: On the Rebound.” Jadlow says Knight used various abuse practices to “discipline” the team and was able to get away with it in the mid-1980s. Aside from grabbing players genitals, Knight also punched Jadlow in the back of his head, smashed a clipboard on him, dug his hands into his sides, called players f***ing p***ys, destroyed a plane after losing the 1986 NCAA Tournament, and made players Dean Garret and Keith Smart run sprints while barking like dogs for several hours.

Jadlow spoke about Knight’s actions in a recent interview posted by Complex. “Things are a little bit different today in regards to what they were in the mid to late 80s. Some of the things that went on, you just thought of it in terms of discipline. By today’s standard, if something happened that went on back during those days people would probably be thrown in jail,” he said regarding Knight. “The hardest part about playing for Coach Knight was never the physical aspect; it was a mental aspect. The mind games. Trying to figure out what’s going on in his mind and what the next step is.”
