Kanye West showed a lot of love to his former artist Kid Cudi while performing “Father Stretch My Hands Part 1.”

Cudi threw shots at his former boss in a Twitter rant last month and Kanye checked him on it a few weeks back. Now Kanye is showing support for his friend who is now dealing with his depression issues in rehab. During the Los Angeles stop on the Saint Pablo tour, Kanye asked fans to sing Cudi’s part for him. “Let’s sing this one time for Cudi,” said Kanye while performing the track off “TLOP.” “So Cudi, he in rehab right now, but he got a number one song on the radio, and I want you to sing so he can hear it.”

Kid Cudi checked himself into rehab in the beginning of this month for depression and suicidal thoughts. The move came just weeks after his rant where he attacked both Kanye and Drake claiming they used “30 writers” for their songs. At the time Cudi said that he hasn’t felt peace for years and finally wanted to get help for himself. “I would’ve done something to myself. I simply am a damaged human swimming in a pool of emotions everyday of my life.” Cudi was scheduled to appear on the hit Fox series “Empire,” but was replaced by Romeo. It seems that he’s focused on his personal issues. “I really am sorry. Ill be back, stronger, better. Reborn. I feel like s***, I feel so ashamed. I’m sorry,” concluded Cudi.
