New details are emerging about Scottie Pippen’s divorce as police were called twice to his home in the past 3 weeks for domestic disturbances.

The NBA Hall of Famer and wife Larsa announced their divorce earlier this week and cited “drifting” as one of the deciding factors in the split. But TMZ Sports learned that there were some domestic disturbances in their home shortly before the divorce was announced. Fort Lauderdale PD reportedly responded to a call from the Pippen home on October 2nd and found Larsa waiting in her car in front of their house. She told police that the two got into a heated argument, but there wasn’t any physical altercation between them. Scottie invited her back inside and offered to leave in order to make Larsa comfortable with going back in the house. She ended up staying somewhere else. Another incident took place on October 4th, but no other details have been revealed about that incident at this time.

After 19-years of marriage, Scottie filed for divorce last week. Larsa issued a statement through her rep explaining the decision to split. “After careful consideration and 19 years together, Larsa and Scottie have each filed for dissolution of their marriage. Although they are no longer married, Larsa remains hopeful that she and Scottie will always do what is best for their 4 beautiful children and jointly raise them with love and respect. She would like to thank everyone for their understanding and kindly ask for privacy from the media during this difficult time of transition for her family.” The couple has 4 children together.
