Police arrested Houston rapper Maxo Kream hours before he was scheduled to perform in Dallas on Friday, October 21.
Maxo has been traveling along as the opening act for Danny Brown's "The Exhibition" tour, and was blessed to perform before a hometown crowd in Houston on Thursday. But early Friday he was taken into custody and booked on two counts of engaging in an organized criminal act. News of his detainment first broke through associates on social media. Danny Brown himself was one of those who expressed hope for the best, tweetintg "Free Maxo Kream"
Maxo Kream remains behind bars at the Ford Bend County Jail in Richmond, Texas. His bail has been set at $100,000 for each of the two counts he faces.
