Jeezy recently explained his Donald Trump/2Pac comparison to The Breakfast Club and said the two are similar because they were or are the hottest thing in their respective arenas.

Much like 2Pac in the mid-1990s, Donald Trump is constantly in the news and Jeezy said if he dropped a CD he would go diamond right now. “[Donald Trump] is the hottest person in politics. He’s everywhere. You can’t turn on the TV and not see this dude, and he really don’t give a f**k. For the Republican people, they’re born old people just counting money, and he’s giving them something they’ve never had. He’s giving them excitement. This man called Hillary Clinton the devil. I wouldn’t even call my auntie that,” he said. Jeezy recognizes the “show” Trump is putting on for the world right now, but he doesn’t think that he’s very “presidential.” He said he’s not supporting either candidate right now and admitted that this election season has made him appreciate Barack Obama much more. The comments come at the 1:00 mark.

“If I had to vote it wouldn’t be for him. It just makes me see how great Barack Obama was. He’s a real man. He’s a class act,” said Jeezy. The rapper is afraid that Trump’s ego might start unnecessary wars if he ends up in the White House. He also said he doesn’t believe either candidate is really for the people and doesn’t mind because he thinks black people need to fix their own communities. Jeezy played a huge role in the election of Obama back in 2008. He endorsed the former Senator and even released the now infamous song “My President” which was featured on his 2008 album The “Recession” and featured Nas.
